Yes, you are right. If you only build dofollow links, it will might unnatural. Link building is only one aspect of Search Engine Optimization. You should do other things as well, like for example press releases, article writing, guest posts on other blogs etc.

HP – I really like the style and way you present SEO information. You talk about needing to focus only on dofollow links from related sites. I’ve always thought that a linking structure that “only” targets nofollow sites would seem a bit unnatural in the eyes of Google.

Any thoughts on that?

I must admit that link building is the most important part of SEO. I like to comment on other blogs. Maybe, that is why my blog is currently ranked on 6th page for one of the highly competitive keyword.

I rank number one in google under the term “ten funny reasons god made pets” but the keyword is useless to me as it doesn’t bring in any visitors. You’ve offered some really insightful advice. Thanks..I’ll save this page for future when I need to get seo help as for now I doubt my page could bring in any income..I’ll have to try and come up with some other keyword..and they are all so competitive like funny animal pics..etc
