Get Backlinks From High PageRank Web Sites with Your Anchor Text Catapulting Your Site To Page #1
While no one can really guarantee a #1 ranking on any search engine, it is still possible to increase your chances markedly.
In order to rank high on Google, Yahoo or Bing, you need backlinks and lot’s of them. While it is not too difficult to find sites that you can put your links on, it is rather tedious to get a larger number of backlinks.
While there are many factors that determine your rank on the search engine results page, links pointing back to your site from related sites, with the proper anchor text are probably the most important factor. This is where an SEO link building service can help.
If you build enough backlinks from related pages, with your keywords as anchor text, you will get on page #1 eventually. Enough could be hundreds or could be thousands. That depends on your keyword phrase and the competition for that phrase.
Do some keyword research to determine which keywords are best to target first. Simply use the free keyword tool to see which terms are actually searched for (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) and then head over to the search engine and see how much competition you have.
The more competition you have, the more related backlinks you’ll need in order to rank high.
If you have just a personal page and only want to rank for low competition keywords, 20 or 30 backlinks should be enough. But if you are in a business that has some kind of competition, a few backlinks will not help you too much. You either need to build a huge chunk of links or keep adding links on a regular basis.
Don’t get fooled by Mr. G. If you google for backlinks (search for link:http://www.yourwebsite.com), you will be presented with none or a few. If you do the same search on Yahoo (Site Explorer – Yahoo! Site Explorer), you will see many, many more links. (Google will tell you exactly how many backlinks you have, but you have to sign up for the Google Webmaster Service (free)).
It looks like they want you to think that links are not that important. And even if you know they are important, they want you to believe you only need a handful to rank high, so they only show you a few.
It is not advisable to use a link building service to just throw thousands of links out there in a hurry. You might see a short improvement in your ranking, but it won’t last long. If you build links over time, it is a different story. Build related links every month and you’ll have an impressive amount in a few short months.
A few hundred links every month are VERY natural. Think about popular videos or funny stories, that are shared by many people. There are easily several hundred links that appear over night and I have only seen YouTube or any other video hub or web 2.0 property getting better and better rankings.
I suggest that you build a decent number of backlinks to your site, using the keyword phrases THAT CONVERT. You do not want to rank for “Wheaties” but rather rank high for “buy Wheaties” or “I need Wheaties” or something along those lines. So, when you do your keyword research, make sure you target the BUYERS, not the browsers. With buyers I mean anybody that would perform the desired action on your site.
You can do the link building alone, if you have enough time, or you can outsource it and let a link building service do the work for you. The main thing is: Take action and do it.
It is best to get links for your URL with your anchor text on high PageRank web sites. The PageRank can vary from 1 up to PR 6 or more. The web sites that you use for that are blogs and web 2.0 sites.
It is done by finding web sites that have a high PageRank and contributing content that adds value to these sites. This basically means to write articles related to your site and submit these to high PageRank web sites. It is a very labor intensive task, but this way you only get links with very high quality, as the site owner usually has to approve the article. Once these links are in place they will usually stay there for years to come.
It is very important that all links are dofollow, from high Pagerank domains and the page itself is related to your keywords. That means your link gets real link juice from pages that are trusted by Google.
These custom-made links are the highest quality links you can get, aside from someone independently writing something nice about your product or service and publishing it on their web site.
As it does not make sense to build a bunch of links and then do nothing you should order it as an ongoing monthly service.

I liked you’re pitch. Keeping to the facts and not over-promising. We rank pretty high for terms like ‘marketing jobs’ (#2 on google) however we of course want that #1 spot. HP – I really like the style and way you present SEO information. You talk about needing to focus only on dofollow links from related sites. I’ve always thought that a linking structure that “only” targets nofollow sites would seem a bit unnatural in the eyes of Google.

Yes, you are right. If you only build dofollow links, it will might unnatural. Link building is only one aspect of Search Engine Optimization. You should do other things as well, like for example press releases, article writing, guest posts on other blogs etc.
